Tilal City is a first-of-its-kind mixed use development in sharjah that offers the unique opportunity to purchase or lease land and build property within the emirate.
Hilton and UAE-based developer Tilal Properties have planned to develop the DoubleTree by Hilton Sharjah Tilal Mall, Hilton’s second DoubleTree hotel announced in Sharjah this year. The new property, which will be next to the Tilal Mall, is slated to open in 2021.
Following the development of the 200-guestroom Double Tree by Hilton Sharjah Tilal Mall and the 254-guestroom Double Tree by Hilton Sharjah Waterfront Hotel & Suites opening in 2020, Hilton will operate three hotels in the emirate. Hilton announced plans to open Double Tree by Hilton Sharjah Waterfront Hotel & Suites in early April. It is being developed opposite the Al Majaz Waterfront as part of a $43-million management agreement with Al Marwan Group. The announcement follows the opening of the Hilton Sharjah, the company’s first hotel in the emirate, on Cornice Road six years ago.
